Myself, my husband and our five year old Great Dane, Nova, made our way to Yuma from NC in August of 2010 and visited Urban K9. Victoria was SUPER sweet and great with our girl! Nova stresses easliy and for that reason had never been boarded before but she was completley comfortable and relaxed on her very own toddler bed at Urban K9. Would recommend this facility to anyone who wants their pup to be cared for and spoiled rotten while they're away! I only wish they were closer to us in NC!!

Wonderful! Wonderful establishment. Victoria took excellent care of my babies. Their groomer does a great job too! My dogs were happy and not at all stressed out when I picked them up. Very happy with their care.

Great place Great place to board your dog. They take good care of the animals and my dog gets to have play time with other dogs. He's always excited to go. Victoria goes out of her way to accommodate you or your dogs needs. They'll even give baths so your dog is nice and clean when you pick up. Best kennel in town!

Awesome Kennel! My dogs LOVE going to Urban K9! It's obvious they have fun there. The staff is great. It's always very clean. I highly recommend them for boarding or daycare!

Excellent My dogs are always excited when they go to Urban K9 for daycare or boarding. They have a lot of fun there and get a lot of play time. I like they are not just cooped up in their kennel all day. The staff is very friendly and obviously love dogs. I definitely recommend this place if you need to board your dog!

Great place. dog was dragging me into the kennel. gave dog a great haircut and bath. great price, staff, and facilities.

NO ONE can compare to Urban K9! Victoria is excellent at her job and loves doing it! She and Goose ALWAYS put the customer/guests first. Sadie and Jeb were usually dragging ME in there! I would be ready to cry and they couldn't wait to get off their leashes, as if saying: "Bye Mom, see ya later!" I never worried about my doggies when I had to leave them behind, I knew they were in safe hands. Victoria always did her best to work with our schedules for space and drop offs/pick ups. Routines are followed and most of all, my guys were loved, pampered and spoiled!!! I could always tell by the numerous dirt/paw prints on Victoria's and other staff's clothes, lol. I wouldn't have it any other way. Urban K9 is also very clean and smelled fresh whenever we walked through the doors. I can't imagine the constant mopping it takes to keep a doggie hotel that CLEAN. Whenever my husband and I go back to Yuma, we will ALWAYS use Urban K9! We love you guys and miss you very much! It's so much easier to enjoy vacations and day trips when you know the ones you love are safe and happy!!!

My daughter was married recently in Yuma. We had to take our two dogs, a greyhound and a husky/xx or we would not be able to attend the wedding.
We filled out all necessary paperwork well in advance, and made sure we took dog food and treats in pre-measured packets so the dogs would have as little break in their routine as possible. This was the first time the 11 year old husky had EVER boarded and the first time the greyhound had boarded since she left the racing world two years ago.
I knew it was going to be a positive experience when the pooches pulled hard on their leads to go INTO the place. The staff were wonderful to my pooches. When we picked them up, they were glad to see us, but also reluctant to leave a place where being spoiled is normal, rather than the exception.
I will definitely use this facility again and highly reccommend them to other pet families.

Very clean, very friendly staff. The dogs are treated like family. My dogs enjoy it there as they get lots of play time and aren't just cooped up in their kennel all day. They have daycare as well as boarding. They even have suites with child beds and tv sets! It's nicer than some people hotels I've stayed at!

We live in Phoenix & whenever we go to California we drop off our Bull Terrier here. He loves this place!! The prices are great!! The staff is so friendly! I thought it was so nice of them to wash my dogs bed for us! I recommend this place!!

they are soooooo awesome! we left our furry baby here for almost 3 weeks while we were on vacation and they took such good care of her! finding this place was a little hard since it's in the industrial area near kennedy pool, but it's probably me since i could never find anything! lol. found this place from the yellow pages and they have a website which was a ton of help! on their website, there are pictures of the kennels or suites and condos as they like to call it...prices of boarding and grooming! dropped off our little girl and she was greeted by other furry friends! they keep the dogs on the same feeding schedule like home as you would feed them, take them outside for bathroom breaks and play time. this facility is also air conditioned so it was perfect since summer was creeping up on us. they offer discounts for a certain amount of days, the longer the stay, the bigger the discount! our dog was also groomed so when we picked her up, she was all ready and it was one less thing to worry about besides unpacking from our vacation. i would definitely recommend them from boarding and grooming!
